Testimate is Kela’s IT testing partner

Testimate is Kela’s partner in the ICT expert services 2018-2022 framework agreement. Kela is Finland’s  social security institution, supervised by the Finnish Parliament. Testimate took part in Kela’s public sector call for tenders together with our partners Luoto Company and Symbio. The three companies together qualified in the five selected Kela’s IT suppliers in the field of software testing.

Kela’s call for tenders involved obtaining ICT expert services for five individual IT domains (application development, requirement specification, testing, information architecture and project management).

The arrangement is due to the renewal of Kela’s benefit systems and registers to a new software architecture. This renewal includes all Kela’s core process systems, such as electronic services to Kela’s customers.

In the call for tenders, pricing was valued at 40% and quality at 60%. Thanks to Testimate’s specialists’ expertise and skiilset, Testimate was rated with the second best quality score of all applicants.

When needed, Testimate provides Kela with professional software testing services (tester, test automation expert, test developer) and test management services (test manager).as well as test management services.

During the four-year frame agreement, Kela is set to purchase ICT services for a total of €43 million, out of which €5.5 million is used for testing services.
