The greatest IT event in Northern Finland, Digital Oulu, was \norganized in early February. The event is a prime example of \ndigitalization also advancing well outside the Helsinki metropolitan \narea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event took a diverse look at the different domains of digital \nbusiness. The top presenters included information security guru Mikko \nHypp\u00f6nen, marketing and branding evangelists Tomi Laine and Jenna Perus,\n as well as Marc Dillon, who is a familiar name operating behind several\n Finnish high-technology companies. In addition to the keynotes, the \nprogram included a number of expert presentations on specific topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because Oulu is very close to our hearts, Testimate was naturally present in the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As said, Digital Oulu had an impressive list of top names lined up, so there was plenty to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Perhaps the strongest keynote came from F-Secure\u2019s Research Director \nMikko Hypp\u00f6nen. Hypp\u00f6nen described the threats related to the Internet \nand took quite a critical view to the future of the web. In addition to \nthe information security of online services, Hypp\u00f6nen emphasized how \npeople as individuals behave online and how they share information on \nsocial media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After this year\u2019s presenter lineup, we are really looking forward to \nDigital Oulu 2020 \u2013 and the keynote speakers who were already announced \nas part of this year\u2019s event!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Oulu is an important software product development hub where thousands\n of software developers create digital products for both domestic and \ninternational markets. As world-class digital products and services rely\n on world-class software testing, Testimate\u2019s goal is to be an active \npart of the local ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our goal at Digital Oulu was to meet old friends, make new acquaintances and help anyone interested in software testing reach their goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Digital Oulu was definitely worth the visit \u2013 the event was full of \npositive buzz, interesting presentations and new ideas. We hope to be \nthere next time as well!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
