Testimate receives Great Place to Work certification

The testing consultants at Testimate, a software testing consulting firm, enjoy their work immensely – and now research confirms this. In November 2022, Testimate was awarded Great Place to Work certification™, which shows that employees enjoy their workplace and trust their employer.

The Great Place to Work certification is based on a survey conducted among employees. The survey measures the employee experience at the company in terms of factors such as commitment, fairness, and leadership.

In the survey, 100% of respondents rated Testimate as a really good place to work. As many as 97% of respondents rated their own work input as important.

– Satisfaction with the company, the team, and one’s own work are the cornerstones of job satisfaction. People really enjoy working at Testimate, and they don’t want to leave us. For our customers, this translates into motivated, focused professionals who always have the support of a skilled team behind them, comments HR Partner Susanna Hietanen.

A close-knit, thriving community

Ninety per cent of Testimate employees responded to the Great Place to Work survey. According to the results, 98% of employees feel a strong sense of commitment to the company. A full 100% of respondents felt that they had sufficient resources to do their jobs and that they were treated as equal members of the work community regardless of their position.

– Behind these excellent results lies a genuinely positive atmosphere and a close-knit community. Testimaten employees are proud of their workplace and want to showcase it. Our next goal is to rise to the top of the Finland’s Best Workplaces list, Susanna continues.

To balance out their demanding, often remote expert work, the Testimate team meets regularly in their free time. In addition to sharing expertise, Testimate has engaged in a wide range of activities, from cycling to snow trips. A major upcoming event in the leisure calendar is a trip to the Swiss Alps in January 2023.

– Well-being at work is a constantly evolving concept, and it is our important task to continue to live up to the ratings we have received. There is always room for improvement – for example, we intend to focus more on training opportunities for employees and keep our ears open to suggestions from the team..

A continuous need for future experts

Software testing is a growing field with no shortage of work in the future. New testers are not graduating at the rate required by the market. Testimella therefore has a constant need for new talent, both experienced and new to the field.
