Posti ensures smooth parcel logistics with Testimate

A self-service parcel locker provides consumers with an everyday, easy-to-use service for picking up deliveries. All the user needs is a pickup code, which is delivered to the user’s mobile phone. However, under the hood, the parcel locker combines a huge amount of service logic and logistics that ensure that the right parcel can be picked up from the right location at the right time.

Posti’s parcel logistics solution includes multiple systems, from the parcel lockers’ end user interfaces and IoT-powered smart locks all the way to backend systems and various integrations to mobile apps, electronic tracking services and pickup notifications. The solution is being built by multiple software and hardware vendors. Testing the entire system requires a deep understanding of how all the different parts in the system play together.
